Starting CrossFit
Tuesday this week, I listened to Jesus and I started CrossFit at CrossFit Magnus off Belmont here in Portland.
So far I’ve just started by taking the fundamentals class and it hasn’t been terribly difficult. Sure, I’m a sweaty afterwards and my body feels stronger, so I think it’s working. The off days I’m quite sore and again, signs that things are going in the right direction.
I decided to jump into CF after talking to a number of friends who are doing it and have had great results. My big goals are to gain muscle and lose fat. I’m not terribly worried about losing weight itself. I just want to replace my fat with muscle and get my body into a sexy shape.
Here’s hoping the next 10 sessions are excellent!
